Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, has praised the glazer families for getting three new players this summer that will be added to his squad for next season, but says he wants one more player before the transfer window deadline.
Speaking after their 2-1 sparkling performance win over Sampdoria on Wednesday night, Mourinho insisted that every player in his squad was in his plan, but admits he is eyeing one more player.
“Everybody is in the plan. The plan is to have a good squad, not just a good team. Lukaku, Martial, Rashford – we need everybody.
“The club did a fantastic job by getting 3 players. I thank the club. I’ll be happier if they give me 4, but they did a great effort,” he said.
Nemanja Matic arrived this week from Chelsea, but Mourinho is believed to be keen on a wide midfielder.
United has been linked with Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
