Santi Cazorla has revealed that he is hoping to be back in action for Arsenal soon after his long lay-off due to injury.

The Spanish playmaker has been out of action since last October and has not featured for the Gunners since their 6-0 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League.
The midfielder has had eight operations in an attempt to solve a problem in his Achilles tendon and he will be hoping to make a return to action in the coming months.
Cazorla is regarded as one of Arsenal’s key players and his absence did not help the Gunners last term as they slumped to a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old refused to put a date on his potential return to action but assured fans that he is aiming to be back in action shortly.
Speaking to Spanish radio station Onda Cero, Cazorla said: “I don’t know how long it will take, but I’m convinced that I’ll be back soon.
“Each time I leave the operating theatre, I think that everything will be fine and I’ll be back again.
“The doctors have told me that a case like mine is one that they probably won’t see again for a long time as it is unusual for an athlete.
“I had no strength in my tendon or muscle mass. Every day my son asks me if I will play again because he really wants to see me out on the pitch again and I really hope that it will happen soon.”
Arsenal kick off their new Premier League season with a clash against Leicester City on the opening weekend of the new campaign.
The north London side will be playing in the Europa League this season after missing out on a top-four finish.
