Liverpool are considering a move to sign Wolfsburg striker Max Kruse, according to reports in Germany.

German newspaper Sport Bild, as quoted by Daily Express, is reporting that Liverpool are weighing up a move to sign the Germany international even though the Werder Bremen star’s £10m release clause has now expired.
The same article states that the German club will not prevent Kruse from completing a move to the Anfield outfit as long as Liverpool match their valuation of the centre-forward.
The striker scored 15 times and made seven assists in 23 appearances in the German top flight last season to catch the eye of the Premier League side in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a return to the Champions League in their first full campaign under Jurgen Klopp.
The 18-time English champions have already signed Egypt international Mohamed Salah in a £36.7m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma earlier in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool have also signed England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke in a free transfer from Premier League champions Chelsea.
